THE VINCENT BLACK SHADOW Pulls Out Of WEDNESDAY 13 Tour

January 27, 2008

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada-based, female-fronted alternative rockers THE VINCENT BLACK SHADOW have been forced to cancel their participation in the upcoming The All-American Massacre Tour alongside WEDNESDAY 13, CREATURE FEATURE and THE A.K.A.S.

Commented THE VINCENT BLACK SHADOW in a statement: "It is a huge disappointment to have to write this, but due to circumstances completely, and immensely frustratingly, beyond our control, THE VINCENT BLACK SHADOW will NOT be going on tour with WEDNESDAY13. This was not a decision made by the band, and without getting into the specifics, we will just use this TENACIOUS D quote, 'All you people up there in City Hall, you are fucking it up for the people that in the streets.' So instead of dwelling on this downer, we would rather focus on the future and the new album(s) we are writing right now. We sincerely apologize to all of you who either bought tickets or have made plans to come see us (if you have problems getting refunds if you purchased tix, send us a message and we will see what we can do for you). Thanks for continuing to support us, we hope that you stick by us."

THE VINCENT BLACK SHADOW released its debut album, "Fears in the Water", in July 2006 via Bodog. A video for the CD's title cut can be viewed below.
